Caramel White Chocolate

Bread Pudding

----------------------------

I made this recipes over a month ago... but i can still remember the taste! It was so scrumptious!

I had read on two blogs about some super yummy bread puddings.
One Being My First Kitchen and the other Food loves Writing.

SO I made my own!!

6 torn hot dog buns!!
3 eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 chopped caramel
a handful of white chocolate chips

Pour all liquid ingredients over the buns and sprinkle on the caramel and chocolate...
BAke at 400 for about 30 minutes.
OH YUUUUUMMM.

I think bread pudding is so much fun because you can deck it out how you want it!
you can use brown sugar... or maple syrup.. or agave... you can use bagels or stale bread...
you can spice it up the way YOU like it

I recently made some using leftover bread (I store the end pieces in the freezer), and added fresh cranberries and orange zest. I know what you mean about still being able to taste it a month later...heavenly!

YUM! I think besides bread, my second favorite food is caramel. There are two reasons to make this :)
