I am pleased to announce that I have made contact with my FDS worker! I am not happy to announce that they are missing alot of things that we actually turned in!
The agency in charge of foster parenting in Hillsborough decided to centralize all training. Little did I know--we were in the first guinea pig centralized class!!
crazy. SO when we turned in paperwork, it did not go straight to our agency but the overseeing parent agency. As the information gets passed along, it apparently loses things!
Our FDS worker is working hard at getting everything together. (FDS is family development specialist) Even though I was hoping for kiddos by the end of the month, it might not happen.
Im sure we will at least have one big happy family by Chrismtas!
yeah for Christmas. toys. presents. shopping. etc.

I'm so glad you told us what FDS meant because there is a hygiene product with those initials! aargh! Bureaucracy - sad thing is the children get shuffled too - can hardly wait until they are safely tucked in your nest!
It takes FOREVER doesn't it?
This is our second time going through everything and it is so hard to wait!

Welcome to Foster Care ...ummm....life. Yay, that was what I was thinking, foster care life. :) Nothing is ever as easy or simple as it should be. EVER!
Oh, that sounds so frustrating. I hope they will get everything together quickly so you can have those little ones! But every day takes you closer to THE day!
