I , like most of you, find interest in personal finance blogs!

WEll I am so happy to say that we have completely paid off 1 credit card!!! We have one more to go and it feels SOoOooo good even if the bank account looks skim!

To be honest I'm nut sure what snowflaking is and all other financey terms, but I do know what paid in full means!

I just have that I listen to Dave Ramsey almost everyday on my drive home from work. Have you heard the thing they do when people call in and are debt-free? They scream DEBT FREE together as a fam? I cry everytime!? So emotional.

Huge congrats, Rae. It is so worth it to be out of debt (one card at a time, even) and make your money work for you.

love ya.

Way to go, Rae! I know, we're on a plan to become debt free too and it's wonderfully freeing.

Congratulations for the awesome milestone!

Way to go, Rachel! If you listen to Dave Ramsey, he calls his plan to get out of debt a "debt snowball," which means that you pay the minimum on all your cards except the one with the smallest balance. You put all the extra money you can squeeze from that month's budget onto the smallest card, and pay that one off first. After that, you take all that money and apply it to the next card, so it has a snowball effect. "Snowflakes" are little extra bits of money that happen to come your way--overtime checks, birthday money, a rebate you forgot about--that you add onto your snowball to make it bigger and help you pay off your debt faster.

I hope that made sense! Keep up the good work.
