Tonight we took our first step towards becoming licensed foster care parents.
WE attended our orientation and signed up for our training classes...
Mountains of Paperwork will be forthcoming.... but how exciting it will be to help a child during such a difficult time :)
Thankfully we already have our fingerprinting and some class work done by working at EB. This process will still take us about 6 months. I hope to chronicle some of these adventures. I also hope to encourage you to take the plunge!

That is SO EXCITING!!!! Steve and I have a huge desire to adopt someday. We aren't sure about the timing--but we know that God will show us. He has given us a very strong desire for adoption and I cannot wait to see how He will lead us! Can't wait to hear more about your fostering too!

Rae did you know Amanda Miller Wagner (she married one of the twin Wagner boy Jason/Joel?) Well 18mo. after they were married they got their first foster care children bro and sis...now 2 years later they are 8-1/2 &5-1/2 and will be adopted "anytime" now. They are all precious! Their baby sister is a year old now so they are a family of three...cuties too.She is on facebook!
