My Joseph

Today is Joseph's birthday
. Two years ago I gave birth to my sweet son.

What a bittersweet day today is. Two days ago I gained two foster children.

Some tears were shed as I remembered Joseph while the sounds of "A,B, C's " were being sung to me in the background.

I miss my son.

Today I care for others in his memory.

I can't believe it has been that long ago.......and yet only yesterday. I love the fact that you are caring for children that need the love that you can offer.

Rachel, I'm sorry for your loss and the reminder of that sweet little boy, but I'm praising God for you with the gift of your licensing and these two little guys. Maybe our little guys will have to have a play date together. :)

New to your blog and heartbroken by the second post I read but blessed to know your heart is so big to take on such a gracious duty as a foster mom. Hugs!

You are so special, Rachel! God gave you a gift to love those sweet babies just as you do Joseph. The Lord knew they would need you to care for them!!! Keep up the good work and BTW I love Huggies overnights too! ;)

Love, Nicki

Hi Rachel, So glad to find you in blogland!

I think I remember hearing of your loss 2 years ago. I've always thought things like this would be really hard but now that I have experienced motherhood I can't imagine the hurt.

Those 2 boys that you have now are so blessed to have you. I'm glad you are taking time to remember his birthday.
