deco-ing

SOme work in Progess for our SPARE-OOM.

WE will have a homestudy done within the next six weeks. I am creating a colorful safe haven for our future foster children. I find this to be a very fun project and would love suggestions!

WE have not yet decided on our profile child (ren).

ie. teen girl --two teen girls-- one infant-- two toddlers--same sex sibling group.

I don't feel that fostering teen boys would be best for the time being. Moving to a 5 bedroom home in the country would change our profile.

I really want to stay open to other ideas until we complete our classwork.

I love Good will and JOann's clearance! thoe ZZZZ's were only a few cents a piece and I had the ribbon from a previous project. not sure if the jutting nails would pass a homestudy! hah!

You are so brave and I really admire you for doing this. I wanted to foster children or adopt children too but my significant other does not share my passion for it, unfortunately. In regards to fostering, I'm a bit too soft hearted and I'm afraid I might get too attached to the kid to finally let the kid go if the time comes.
