I am so disappointed with the idea of medications, especially over the counter "stuff". These medications are created to treat symptoms! Here is a quote from WEbMD "Most cold and flu drugs attack symptoms, not the specific viruses. They don't cure, but they can bring relief, lighter symptoms, or shorten your illness."
Even when I went to the ER, I was diagnosed with "abdominal PAIN"- that is what is said on my discharge papers!!! That is a symptom! It would be nice to know and be diagnosed with the problem itself!!
I'm just really sick with the flu and frustrated that even symptom medications aren't working for me! I really need to find some virus attacker!!!!!!!!!

sorry dear. I do agree with you about the symptoms. Although, I do take things to aleve the symptoms sometimes. Hope you find some virus attackers soon.
