I've often had the exact same thoughts... but haven't expressed them to many people because I thought I might sound ungrateful for the "little blessing". But honestly, I have thought about saying to people when they say "Congratulations!" to me... "Congratulations? For what? For morning sickness? For crampy, achy yuckiness? For more potty trips than I would like? Oh Thank you!!" Yup... I can definitely relate!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32526740.post-74102253153649088062007-04-30T16:56:00.000-04:002007-04-30T16:56:00.000-04:00You are going to be a wonderful mother.you will ha...You are going to be a wonderful mother.you will have healthy baby, and you will have God's grace raising your little one. But concentrate on all the blessing!! the pregency complaints is so much less painful then being pregant and having a miscarraige, or even worse a stillborn which i have had to go through. So every day your sick/ not feeling good look at it as a blessing the baby is still alive and growing!! and really when it is all said and done and you are looking/holding the baby for the first time wow!!
also hate to tell you when you have the baby it's not over you will find alot more things that will make you uncomfortable, going to school for the 1st time first bad high fever etc.. the list goes on, but i will pray for you and try real hard to see the huge wonderful blessing you have love you lots DelilahTHE SPEARShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08789601540278847056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32526740.post-29990823479792764472007-04-27T14:49:00.000-04:002007-04-27T14:49:00.000-04:00I'm sorry you are not enjoying your pregnancy. Weeks 20 - 30 when the baby is the most active really seem to be the most enjoyable (not as much needing to go to the bathroom either). Hope the pregnancy gets better for you. If not, it shouldn't affect how you relate with your baby. Of course, if you plan to nurse don't expect to have control over your body for awhile -- they can be quite demanding for awile.Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06062679626047355294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32526740.post-46273213214382968712007-04-26T14:50:00.000-04:002007-04-26T14:50:00.000-04:00David and I dated for 5 years before we got marrie...David and I dated for 5 years before we got married, and we were engaged for 3 of them! After we had been married for a few years, people started HOUNDING us about when we were going to have a baby. It became very painful because we struggled with infertility (as you can see, God was victorious over that problem), and every time someone asked me about it, it was like another stab to the heart.

I did not enjoy pregnancy like some people do. I was happy because I was finally going to have a baby, but I was VERY relieved when it was over. I was not running to the bathroom all the time, I could sleep comfortably (as long as the baby did), I could move, and I had so much energy. I had tons of contractions throughout most of both of my pregnancies. They never put me into pre-term labor, but I was really stressed about them. If I did too much, or didn't drink enough water, they would pick up, and that made me really nervous.

Take heart. This too shall pass. You have much to be thankful for. You didn't have any trouble conceiving. You have a healthy baby. You haven't felt great, but it could have been worse!

You are often in my thoughts and prayers!Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10528097998619795151noreply@blogger.com
